Farfugium, commonly known as Leopard Plant or Tractor Seat Plant, is an ornamental foliage genus in the daisy family prized for its bold architectural presence in shade gardens. These striking perennials typically form dense clumps of large, glossy, rounded or kidney-shaped leaves held on sturdy petioles. Depending on the selection, the dramatic foliage ranges from massive, leathery green leaves to striking variegated forms splashed with golden-yellow spots. Beyond their lush foliage display, mature Farfugium plants often produce clusters of bright yellow, daisy-like flowers on thick, upright stalks, typically blooming in late autumn to early winter.
